Proverbs 22:6 says...

“Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he shall not depart from it.”

 

What better way to say thank you to The Lord for our precious little ones than to leave the legacy he has called us to?  Here at Bethel we believe that spiritual growth can begin at any age.  It is our belief that all children are called to live a life extraordinary for The Lord, and we continuously strive to provide age-appropriate programs to guide them.  Our ministries are designed to work alongside you as parents to see your children have a life-long relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

 

Nursery (Ages birth-2)

Our Nursery program here at Bethel is dedicated to infants and toddlers ages birth to 3 yrs.  Our goal is to establish a safe, loving, and consistent environment for little ones to experience the presence of God.  Volunteer workers are rotated weekly and a “Beeper System” has been established to ensure safety.

Children’s Church (Ages 3-5)

Our Children’s Church program is available for children ages 3 thru 5.  This fun and exciting ministry encourages children to participate in times of worship, biblical teaching, prayer, and games.  Our volunteer teachers are committed to providing a stable foundation for children to experience the presence of the Lord in their own understanding. Our desire is to see young children seeking and knowing God!

Super Church (Ages 6-11)

Our Super Church program ministers to those children ages 6 thru 11.  During each service, children are given the opportunity to explore God’s word through various activities.  Biblical principles are established through worship, teachings, prayer, games, and fellowship with others.  We truly desire to lead children into a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to show them their value in service to the kingdom of God.

Bethel Kidz (Ages 6-11)

The Bethel Kidz ministry is a program centered on Music and Drama.  Our goal is to help children learn Biblical truths and Biblical principles through creative methods of worship as drama, music, dance, teachings, and discussions. Children are encouraged to use their talents for the Lord and recognize the great calling on their lives.  Our staff and volunteers are spiritually motivated to teach your children about Jesus Christ in an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and forgiveness.  All children ages 7-12 are encouraged to join us on Sunday evenings at 6 pm.

Children & Missions

Buddy Barrel is the mascot for BGMC. When BGMC started in 1949, supplies were shipped to the missionaries in barrels. Barrels were used because they could be sealed tight and made waterproof. This way the supplies would not get wet or ruined. As a result, Buddy Barrel was created. Small wooden barrels were also designed for the children to save their coins in. These barrels have now changed to larger yellow plastic barrels. Kids are encouraged to save their money in these barrels and turn their money in once a month.
