New to Bethel

What does Bethel Mean?

Bethel is a name found in the Bible that means, "The House of God."  The desire of our heart is that our community of believers would be, "The House of God."  As followers of Christ we become His house and His presence dwells in us.

Through each believer God the Father ministers healing, deliverance and salvation and that is what our broken, hurting world desperately needs; the compassion ministry of a loving, merciful Creator.  Our prayer is that from the moment that you enter our door, you would be met with the presence of God Who alone can change your life because this is His house.

What can I expect at Bethel?

We hope that your experience at Bethel is one of the most enjoyable you will ever have. Our worship is energetic, our teaching is passionate and our love is contagious.  We have never claimed to be the "perfect" church, but we strive for it everyday.

How do I get connected?

At Bethel we have many opportunities to offer you that will help you get connected to the life of our community, but perhaps none as effective as our "Sharpened Iron" and "Women of Worth" Proverbs Bible study groups.

What about my children?

/files/Pictures of Church Activity/Church Images 059.jpgJesus highly valued children and so do we.  It is our goal that every time a child comes to Bethel they will be taught Bible truths in fun, exciting, age appropriate ways.  Caring teachers who are committed to laying Biblical foundations in a safe and loving environment will encourage and motivate them to follow Christ.  At Bethel you will find many ministries designed to bless your children but also to allow them to minister.
